School of Arts & Sciences

GCU student using a microscope

Studying in the arts and sciences goes beyond reading books, taking a field trip, or spending time in the lab. At Georgian Court University, we believe in fostering a sense of community that cultivates a customized educational experience for each student.

The School of Arts & Sciences is a community that provides experiences and learning opportunities in the humanities, visual and performing arts, natural sciences, social sciences, and mathematics. You’ll learn in a way that engages you personally and professionally, and enjoy hands-on experiences that ensure your time at GCU prepares you for a thriving career.

Hands-on Learning for All-in Students

As a student, you will be engaged in your education long after you leave the classroom, studio, or lab: There are co-curricular experiences such as living-learning communities, honor societies, clubs, and cultural and service-oriented activities that connect you with others and enrich your experience at GCU.

Regardless of major, students take many classes in this school. This well-rounded approach gives you critical thinking, research, and communication skills—in turn, those drive creativity, spiritual development, social responsibility, global citizenship, and respect for diversity. This approach also prepares you to become a lifelong learner and enjoy a rewarding career in the field of your choice.
