Art & Visual Studies

The backdrop of the Georgian Court University campus provides the inspiration to study for a B.F.A. in Art and Visual Studies. Enjoy a well-balanced program of theory and practice along with opportunities to develop individualistic creative skills.

Through a range of art history courses, students acquire knowledge of both Western and non-Western art movements, critically analyze individual works, and understand the uniquely integrative nature of multicultural art study. The program culminates with a capstone exhibition seminar.

Note: Effective spring 2024, the B.F.A. in Art & Visual Studies program is not accepting new students.  Please enroll in the B.A. in Visual Art program instead!
