You will be invited to our Blue & Gold Registration days in July and August, where you’ll meet faculty advisors, learn about suggested pathways through the degree, be introduced to our self-service registration system, register, and learn all about our academic resources.

• Academic Support: At Georgian Court, we are dedicated to your success. Our faculty members are committed to providing you with the support and resources you need to excel in your studies. Whether you need help with course material, guidance on selecting a major, or assistance with time management, our academic advisors are here to help you thrive.

• Student Life: College is about more than just academics—it’s also about forming lifelong friendships, exploring your interests, and discovering new passions. Our vibrant campus community offers a wide range of clubs, organizations, and events where you can connect with fellow students who share your interests and values. From student government to intramural sports to cultural clubs, there’s something for everyone at Georgian Court.

• Personal Growth: College is a time of self-discovery and personal growth. You’ll have the opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, and learn more about who you are and what you want to achieve. Our campus provides a supportive and inclusive environment where you can explore your identity, values, and goals while surrounded by peers on a similar journey.

• Resources and Services: From the moment you set foot on campus, you’ll have access to a wide range of resources and services designed to support your overall well-being. From counseling and wellness programs to career services and internship opportunities, we’re here to help you navigate the challenges and opportunities of college life.

Our residence halls are designed to help you meet new people and live every day in a positive, upbeat environment. You’ll have space to focus when you need to, and a place to call your own, where you’re bound to form friendships that will last a lifetime.

There are four residence halls on campus at GCU:

• Joseph Hall houses about 140 residents, from sophomore to seniors. This classic-style residence hall has double-occupancy rooms and communal bathroom facilities (bring a bathrobe!). St. Joseph Hall is on the north side of campus, near the basketball courts.

• Maria Hall overlooks the Italian Gardens on one side and the Japanese Garden on another. It’s the location of our new First-Year Experience program. Maria Hall houses just over 200 students and includes laundry facilities and a kitchen in the lower level lounge area.

• Our newest residence hall, Catherine Hall, houses approximately 82 residents. Here, juniors and seniors live in both single and suite-style rooms. Two single rooms share a private bathroom, while suites consist of two double rooms with a private kitchenette, bathroom, and living room.

• Mercy Hall currently houses students in the Honors Program. Each double-occupancy room includes a bathroom, and the building has a microwave, sink, and laundry facilities. There is also a lounge on the first floor with a piano and television.

Each of these buildings is an easy walk away from classes, dining, the wellness center, and other campus hangouts. You’ll be assigned to a residence hall based on what year of school you’re entering. Click here to learn more about our residence halls.

Our dining services make eating well and eating right effortless with nutritious, flavor-packed meals. Your health and wellness are top of mind, which is why we work with a registered dietitian and practice sustainability by sourcing fresh, local foods whenever possible.

Our two dining locations have a wide variety of menu options to suit your appetite:

Raymond Dining Hall features locally grown, freshly prepared food, culturally diverse menus, and ten exhibition-style cooking stations. This will be your go-to for buffet-style dining, where you can eat as much or as little as you like. Come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and enjoy additional brunch hours over the weekend.

Here’s a taste of what’s on the menu:

• Traditional American cuisine, such as pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches
• Chicken tinga tacos, Kimchi fried rice, green curry, and other ethnically inspired classics
• Healthy salads with leafy greens, protein, and do-it-yourself toppings and dressings
• Comfort foods and desserts—think French fries, chips, cookies, and red velvet cake

If you happen to miss dinner at Raymond Dining Hall, no worries! The Café at Georgian Court stays open late until 11 p.m., Monday through Friday. Have a snack between classes, pick up something to eat on the go, or sit down with your friends for a full meal. Choose from grilled burgers, sandwiches, subs, and salad wraps at Sizzle and Sear or A Crust Above. You can even “design your own” sandwich for less than $5, get sushi, and much more.

• Join any of the 40+ clubs and organizations on campus
• Create your very own student group around a background, interest, or important cause
• Volunteer to do more in the community with service events and donation drives
• Become a part of the campus ministry
• Hone your leadership skills with the Student Government Association

GCU’s Office of Student Life works with students, classes, clubs, and campus organizations to plan a full program of social, cultural, and recreational activities. So you could find yourself headed out to a  Broadway show, sporting event, or other post-worthy excursion.

Everybody’s path to their career is different. Georgian Court University offers a framework for students on a four-year plan, which can be adapted based on your personal needs or the duration of your education. Our team is here to assist you in adapting this plan to make it work for you.

Our Office of Career Services also has a wide array of tools and resources to help you determine your future goals, identify and market your skill set, network, compile a résumé, prepare for interviews, and find jobs and internships.
