Admissions: Undergrad: Cost

"My professors were genuinely interested—not only in teaching me subject matter, but in helping me reach professional goals I had for myself. I graduated with a sense that I had the school and my former professors in my corner, always available to support and guide me. It was empowering."

The Georgian Court University Office of Financial Aid establishes standard student budgets each year as a basis for awarding financial aid funds. Budgets are based on actual tuition charges, national average living allowances calculated by The College Board adjusted for the surrounding area, and include direct and indirect costs for the academic year (fall and spring semesters).

The following cost of attendance example is based on the following assumptions:

  • On-campus room and board awards are based on students who live on campus in a double-occupancy room and choose standard meal plan.
  • Commuter—a student that resides at home with parents/relatives

Room and Board:
On-campus housing costs are based on a standard room. Students who choose other than standard housing must pay any additional charges.

Costs for books and supplies vary by program, course load, and classes selected. The figure used is based on the average book sales calculated by the GCU Bookstore.

Transportation for all students is determined based on average transportation requirements for trips to home, semester breaks, and holidays based on the national rates provided by The College Board and adjusted for the surrounding area.

This category represents every other student expense—clothes, personal hygiene, student insurances, entertainment, etc. as determined by The College Board's national average and adjusted for the surrounding area.
