As an institution founded on Mercy core values, Georgian Court University maintains a safe, positive environment.

Our security team is comprised of more than 10 full-time officers and additional part-time and on-call officers who patrol the campus 24 hours a day. Additionally, the campus is regularly patrolled as well. The campus boasts more than 100 emergency phones in its buildings and in elevators, along with more than 55 closed-circuit cameras to monitor the premises.

Students, faculty, and staff members play an active role to keep the campus protected by reporting any suspicious activity and sticking to the university’s conduct code. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive emergency preparedness alert system—Connect-Ed—that reaches the entire GCU community in the event of an incident.
