The Department of Communication, Graphic Design & Multimedia at Georgian Court University draws upon a long tradition of excellence in liberal arts, design, and communication. It carries an intellectually rigorous and skill-based history of media and graphic production into our contemporary digital era. The strength of our programs lies on their comprehensive and interdisciplinary nature. Closely guided by highly accomplished faculty, students work in small lecture or studio oriented classes to achieve critical and technical accomplishments, and polish their individual perspectives. Within a student-centered, intimate environment, they strive to articulate their communication skills, advance their graphic design and multimedia techniques, or develop their artistic sensibilities. Seeking to convey universal messages, they learn how to make use of cutting-edge technologies in the utmost creative fashions.
The University is equipped with wireless network, and our spacious, state-of-the-art Mac and PC labs facilitate a broad range of print, Web, sound, and motion production. In addition, Communication, Digital Design, and Graphic Design & Multimedia students have free access to digital and electronic video and audio equipment.
