The MILL Spring 2017 Tea & Membership Drive
Join us as we explore the life and legacy of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, as well as the many contributions of S. Francis Warde, the sister credited with bringing Mercy to the United States. As a result of the work of these two women and the sisters, Mercy has spread world-wide to forty-seven different countries providing service in 17 Mercy colleges/universities in the United States, a variety of health care institutions, and many social service organizations that stand in solidarity, seeking social justice for those who are in need of support and advocacy.
This will be an interactive and casual discussion on the wonderful gift of Mercy and will include tea, finger sandwiches and sweets.
This event is open and free to all but limited to the first 50 registrants.
Tuesday, March 28, 5-7 pm, Mansion, Great Hall (This event was originally scheduled for March 14.)
