April 4 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 11:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, repeating until June 10, 2017
Gabrielle Bonheur “Coco” Chanel (1883–1971) was a French fashion designer and businesswoman. Born in Saumur, France, she was raised in an orphanage and taught to sew. She had a brief career as a singer before opening her first clothing shop in 1910. In the 1920s, she launched her first perfume and eventually introduced the Chanel suit and the little black dress, with an emphasis on making clothes that were more comfortable for women. She was the founder and namesake of the Chanel brand and promises to be a delightful guest in the Gould home.
