Georgian Court Gala Is a Black-and-White Affair
Lakewood, N.J., Aug. 24, 2007—There’s nothing wrong with your eyes if Georgian Court University looks monochromatic on Saturday, October 13. It’s simply the university’s annual gala, the Black and White Masked Ball. Proceeds from the annual Gala support Georgian Court’s Scholarship Fund, which helps deserving students achieve their dreams. During the 2006–2007 school year, the university provided more than $7 million in scholarships, loans, and work-study programs to students.
The Gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails in the Sunken Garden. Guests will then head to the magnificent Gould Mansion for a gourmet banquet, as well as silent and live auctions. The event recognizes the university’s loyal benefactors, while providing the perfect forum for potential sponsors and donors to learn more about how supporting Georgian Court University can help students realize their dreams.
Gala Committee cochairs and GCU trustees Elisabeth Fontenelli and Raymond F. Shea Jr., Esq., have an exciting and elegant evening planned. Guests are invited to pair their most lavish masks with black-and-white formal attire.
“It is only through the support of our benefactors that Georgian Court can provide important educational opportunities and financial assistance to our students,” says Ms. Fontenelli.
Tickets are $250 each, and a variety of sponsorship and promotional opportunities are available. To find out more about event sponsorships, ad journal participation, or to attend the event, please contact Marcia Dickinson, advancement specialist, at 732.987.2276 or email@example.com.
