Mrs. Gould’s Sixth Annual Holiday Social Arrives at Georgian Court
Lakewood, N.J., Oct. 17, 2007—Step back in time to the early 1900s, and celebrate the holiday season with “Mrs. Gould” at her sixth annual holiday social. The Great Hall will be aglow with cheer as you listen to the continuing saga of Edith and George Gould and their seven children. This year, Mrs. Gould welcomes her younger sister Charlotte, both portrayed by actresses from St. George Productions, Medford, New York.
The social, part of the popular Biographies at the Court series, will take place in the Mansion on Georgian Court’s historic Lakewood campus. The Mansion, completed in 1898, was home to the Gould family for more than 20 years.
Available performances are scheduled for November 7, 8, 10, 17, 24 and December 8, 13, 15, 19, 20, 22 (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) at 11:30 a.m. Shows are also scheduled on November 11, 18, 25 and December 16, 23 (Sundays) at 3:00 p.m. Doors open 20 minutes prior to performance, so it is recommended to plan your arrival accordingly.
Tickets for the social, which includes the performance and a tea luncheon, are $40 per person. Because availability is limited, prepurchase of tickets is required for all performances. There will be no refunds within 14 days of the performance.
