National Players to Perform Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at GCU
Play Features Mistaken Identities, Misdirected Passions, Unrequited Love, and Madness
Lakewood, N.J., Nov. 15, 2007—Named after the twelfth night of the holiday season, Twelfth Night (or, What You Will) was first performed in 1602 at the end of the long winter’s feast. Yet another of William Shakespeare’s comedies based on mistaken identity, it is the story of shipwrecked Viola, who masquerades as a man, and Olivia, who falls in love with “him,” and all the confusion that ensues. Join Georgian Court University for this hilarious comedy at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, in the Casino Auditorium on the Lakewood campus.
Tickets for this presentation of National Players’ 59th annual tour are $10 per person in advance and FREE to the GCU community with ID; reservations are required. For more information or to make reservations, contact GCU’s Office of Conferences and Special Events at 732.987.2263 or email@example.com.
