I’ve attended numerous MILL programs over the last three years on a variety of subjects. The professors are well prepared, professional…There is so much to learn. My grandchildren enjoy my debriefing of classes with them, and they think I am cool; whatever that means. I always have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the day of classes. Interacting with the GCU students or staff makes for a total academic experience.
The McAuley Institute for Lifelong Learning (MILL) at Georgian Court University is a community education program designed for adults 50+ who embrace the joy of learning without the hassle of papers, exams, or grades. Inspired by Mother Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, who believed we should “lift people up through further education,” our program offers intellectually stimulating academic classes, body-moving health classes, and inspirational art classes. MILL classes range from two-hour seminars to courses that meet once a week for several weeks.
Look for the Fall 2016 Brochure to be available on or about August 1, 2016.
