Explore a Hidden Talent This Summer at Georgian Court University
3- and 4-Week Sessions Make Summer the Perfect Time for Learning
Lakewood, N.J., May 9, 2008—Need to brush up on your business law? Perhaps you want to bone up on forensic science or organic chemistry? Maybe it’s time to jump start your career with an executive MBA program? In as little as three or four weeks this summer, you can enrich your life and advance your profession with one of more than 200 diverse courses offered through Georgian Court University.
Summer courses have long been a hidden tool for students who want to get a jump on core curriculum requirements when both students and faculty members are in a relaxed mode. Returning students have also discovered that it is an excellent time to explore a latent talent, learn a language, or delve into an area of interest. And, the nearby Jersey Shore beaches make a perfect place for afternoon studying following a morning class.
Two hundred and twenty-five courses are being offered in the arts and humanities, business, education, sciences and mathematics, as well as the accelerated bachelor’s in business administration degree completion program, executive MBA, and other master’s programs.
There are eight different summer sessions that begin in May, June, and July and run from three to six weeks in length. Classes are available online and at five different instructional locations including Georgian Court’s picturesque Lakewood campus, Kingsway Regional High School in Woolwich Township, Georgian Court University at Cumberland County College, New Jersey Coastal Communiversity at Wall, and Georgian Court University at Woodbridge.
Both undergraduate- and graduate-level classes are available for returning and visiting students, as well as special classes for high school juniors and seniors under the Step Ahead Program. For more information about Georgian Court University’s summer course offerings, contact the Office of Admissions at 732.987.2760 or view the summer course catalog online at www.georgian.edu/uploadedFiles/summer_brochure.pdf.
