Georgian Court University Offers Free Seminars on Credit and Debt
Lakewood, N.J., Aug. 29, 2008—The U.S. Census projects that by 2010, the amount of credit card debt in this country will reach over $1.09 billion. Learn how to get out from under that crushing debt, improve your credit scores, and avoid being just another statistic with one of these two free seminars offered by Georgian Court University.
Empowering Knowledge in Finance Seminars
Are you looking to learn how to manage your finances better? These seminars, presented by Georgian Court alumna Christine Graziano, could be exactly what you are looking for! Whether you are still in school or have been working for years, these seminars will provide you with knowledge on credit and debt management. Ms. Graziano has been working in the banking industry for nearly a decade, including securities.
Give Yourself Credit
Tuesday, September 16, 6:00–7:30 p.m.
At this seminar, you will learn about different kinds of credit. You will also learn how to build your credit history, develop a credit strategy, manage credit wisely, understand your credit report, know who uses your credit, and improve credit scores.
Reduce Debt for the Future
Thursday, September 18, 1:00–2:30 p.m.
At this seminar on debt management, learn how to recognize the types and amount of debt you have; establish a plan to avoid, reduce, and eliminate debt; and reduce the chance of amassing debt in the future.

Another seminar, “How to Start a New Business,” will be offered on Wednesday, November 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the Casino Ballroom.
