Lakewood, N.J., Oct. 6, 2008—Georgian Court University opens its doors to prospective undergraduate and graduate students and their guests to learn about all Georgian Court University has to offer at Open Houses on Sunday, October 26, and Sunday, November 16, at 1:00 p.m. in the Casino building on GCU’s Lakewood campus.
Faculty and staff will be on hand to discuss Georgian Court’s four newest undergraduate majors—nursing; exercise science, wellness, and sports; tourism, hospitality, and recreation management; and dance—as well as 25 other undergraduate degree programs, 8 graduate degree programs, and numerous graduate New Jersey certificates offered by the university. Information will also be available for the university’s many online courses and the accelerated business programs that enable busy professionals to complete their degrees quickly and conveniently. Prospective students will also be able to learn more about the university’s new SAT-optional admissions policy.
Student-led tours of the beautiful, safe historic campus will give visitors the chance to check out the library; the new residence hall and chapel; the new Audrey Birish George Science Center; and the new 67,000-square-foot Wellness Center, the soaring, environmentally friendly building that has recently been added to an already exciting and beautiful campus.
In addition to academic program representatives, financial aid personnel will be present to discuss the availability of financial aid and guide students through the process.
Come see how Georgian Court University’s 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio, variety of student services, and caring, inclusive atmosphere add up to a unique and rewarding academic experience. Reserve your place at one of GCU’s fall Open Houses by calling the Office of Admissions at 732.987.2700.
