Bestselling Author Grace Cirocco to Speak on Leadership at GCU
Lakewood, N.J., Oct. 9, 2008—Join Georgian Court University for a daylong women’s leadership seminar featuring a keynote presentation by bestselling author Grace Cirocco. The seminar will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Casino Auditorium on GCU’s Lakewood campus.
Ms. Cirocco is a leading authority on women’s leadership, emotional wellness, and empowerment. She empowers and motivates people to make choices that support excellence and personal effectiveness. Ms. Cirocco is the author of the international bestseller Take the Step, the Bridge Will Be There (Inspiration and Guidance for Moving Your Life Forward) and a professional speaker with degrees in philosophy and ethics.
The seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration and introductions. Ms. Cirocco will deliver her keynote address at 9:00 a.m., and lunch will follow at 11:30 a.m. After lunch, Ms. Cirocco will moderate a panel of successful women leaders to illustrate her tips. The floor will open at 2:30 p.m. for a question-and-answer session.
This event is presented in conjunction with the Alpha Zeta State (New Jersey) Organization of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society, whose mission is to promote the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Professional development units will be provided for teachers. The cost for the event, which includes conference registration, breakfast, lunch, and all materials, is $75 per person by November 1, $20 per GCU community member with ID, $45 per Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Zeta member or GCU alumnus/a, and $90 per person for all reservations received after November 1.
