GCU Women’s College to Offer Campus Overnight Experience
Lakewood, N.J., Feb. 3, 2010—Georgian Court University is offering a Campus Overnight Experience on Monday, February 22, for high school juniors and seniors at 4:00 p.m. in St. Catherine Hall on the Lakewood campus. Hosted by the Office of Residence Life, the overnight stay allows prospective students to experience campus life at Georgian Court while making their final college choice.
High school students are paired with a GCU student hostess for their stay. After sign in, students and their hostesses head to the Dining Hall for dinner, and then check out some campus entertainment, such as a band, comedian, karaoke, or a game night around campus. They see what campus living is really like by spending a night in any of the three residence halls: St. Joseph Hall, Maria Hall, or St. Catherine Hall.
The next day begins with breakfast in the Dining Hall, followed by class with their hostess, and something good from the grill for lunch.
Reservations are required and will be confirmed. To register online, head over to www.georgian.edu. Go to the drop-down menu under Admissions, select Campus Visit Events and then Overnight Campus Experience. Click “View Campus Experience Dates & Sign Up,” and choose Sign Up Now next to the selected date. For more information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 732.987.2760.
An additional Campus Overnight Experience takes place on Monday, March 22.
