Women's College: New Student Orientation

Welcome Class of 2014!

Congratulations on your acceptance to Georgian Court University!  We are excited that you have chosen to become a part of our dynamic community, and look forward to working with you during New Student Orientation. 

New Student Orientation will be held for all new students, first time and transfers, Monday, August 23, and Tuesday, August 24. This two-day event is a required program that reviews all the information you need to make a seamless transition to GCU.  Transfer students are only required to attend Monday, August 23. Sign Up! 

Please note: All first-time freshmen in the women's college- full-time and part-time, commuters and residents- must spend the night in a residence hall.  This is not move in day. 

During the two day orientation at GCU, we invite you to call the campus home while you establish new friendships, explore the beautiful grounds and buildings, enjoy Georgian Court hospitality and most importantly, prepare yourself for the upcoming academic year and your First-Year Experience.

Sign Up Today! Attending orientation is an important step in beginning you journey at Georgian Court.  Orientation is designed to help you:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of what it means to be a college student
• Seek independence
• Embark on new adventures
• Build new relationships with peers
• Highlight your past successes while creating new ones
• Become informed about the resources available at GCU
• Acquaint with your First-Year Seminar professors, Orientation Leaders, and classmates.
