These outstanding women went through a rigorous application and training process to assist you in your transition to Georgian Court University. Throughout Orientation and into the school year, your Orientation Leaders will help you integrate into the campus community. Beginning college is an exciting, confusing, and sometimes overwhelming change, but this is where your Orientation Leaders can help. They are here to keep you informed about campus resources and activities that can benefit you in countless ways.

Mariah Iapicco Class of 2013 Major: Mathematics, Secondary Education Hometown: Lincroft, NJ My favorite part of Georgian Court University is that this school has helped me grow into the woman I am today. Without all of the leadership opportunities presented to me I would not be able to be doing half the things that I am doing. This school pushes you to be the best you can be!

You are not a number here you are an individual that the administration invests their time in to help you succeed.

It is such a welcoming and supportive environment, I truly enjoy being a part of this wonderful place that changes lives.

Jeanette Rodriguez Class of 2013 Major: Psychology/Elementary Education Hometown: Perth Amboy, NJ My favorite part of Georgian Court University is the wonderful staff; whether it is the professors in the classrooms or the staff in the dining hall, they are all very nice and helpful. The professors know you by name and it makes for a better learning community. The friendliness of the staff on campus makes living on campus a real joy and makes me feel like a welcomed part of the community.
Simrandeep Kaur Class of 2012 Major: Exercise Science; Minor: Holistic Health Hometown: Wildwood, NJ My favorite part of Georgian Court University is spring time and when it snows. The campus looks gorgeous and I think it is incredible that I can go to a school with such a beautiful campus.

I know I have a full support system here from my friends to my professors and it feels so right to be able to call GCU "home".

Every professor I have had has taken an interest in my education and has always been there if I needed help.

The clubs and organizations make it so easy for everyone to join in a club or organization that interests them, and it is an easy way to meet new people and get involved!

Jasimen Little Class of 2014 Major: Exercise Science, Holistic Health Hometown: National Park, NJ My favorite part of Georgian Court University is the friendly and family atmosphere. Especially, when trying out for various clubs and events, there is always someone there to make you feel comfortable. Everyone here is like a sister to me and I would not want to have it any other way.
Allison Schaffer Class of 2014 Major: History/ Secondary Education Hometown: Perth Amboy, NJ The ultimate goal of Georgian Court University is to empower women academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through a variety of clubs and organizations, the GCU community offers various means of educating us inside and outside of the classroom. I have yet to see another school match GCU in providing outstanding opportunities for its female students.
Christie Montes Class of 2014 Major: Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Hometown: Brooklyn, New York My favorite part of Georgian Court University is the push and encouragement that we all give here at GCU; no one is a failure. I love the small classes along with my professors’ undivided attention. I love meeting all the new faces that walks on our campus and just talking to them about what GCU is about.

Marissa Capra Major: Dance Hometown: Bayville, NJ My favorite part of Georgian Court University is the dance department; the bond that the dancers have is very strong and it is a great unity everyone has. Another part I really enjoy at GCU is the new friends and sister I've made; they have made me realize a lot about myself, and get involved a lot more!

I also like the staff that is always there for the students. They never push away the students in need of their services.
Vanessa Mitchell Major: Dance Hometown: Newark, NJ My favorite part of being a student here at Georgian Court University is being a dance major. The dance department here is one of the best things to me because I get to express my love for dance all over again with another amazing group of dancers. Another part of GCU that is my favorite is becoming an OL since it has helped me open up more to people, and it has helped start and gain new friendships with other students here at GCU.

Brittany Baker Class of 2014 Major: Accounting Hometown: Waldorf, MD Here at Georgian Court University I really enjoy the clubs and activities; such as W.I.L.D, SGA, and SAAC. There are so many clubs here at GCU that allow you to get involved with the school and make a difference in yourself as well as the environment!
