Important Dates

 

General Information

  • Students may add and/or drop courses online until 11:59pm of the Last Day to Add/Drop Online date listed below for the term. Any course dropped online by 11:59pm of the  Last Day to Add/Drop Online will not appear on the transcript.
  • Students may continue to drop courses via a Paper Registration form in the Registrar's Office by the close of business on the Last Day to Drop by Paper Form Date listed below.
  • Students who drop a course after the Drop By Date and by the close of business of the Withdraw By Date listed below will receive a grade of "W"(withdrawn) on their transcript. Students who receive a grade of "W" are financially responsible for the course.
  • Students who drop a course after the close of business on the Withdraw By Date will receive a letter grade based on work completed or not completed at the end of the semester.
  • Students must login to Self-Service to confirm registration and to obtain final semester schedules and room assignments.
  • Students must follow published procedures for Change of Program and pay any designated Change of Program Fee. Nonattendance or verbal notification does not constitute an official withdrawal. The "Request for Grade of W" form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar.

 

 

Semester Add/Drop Deadlines 

 

Add/Drop Information

  • Students may continue to add/drop courses online only through the first week of a main session
  • Students may drop a course via a paper form in the Registrar's Office during the second week of the semester.
  • Students who withdraw from courses between the third and fourteenth week of either the fall/spring semester will receive grades of "W" on their records.
  • Students who withdraw from courses after the fourteenth week of the fall/spring semester will receive grades computed on the basis of all work completed and not completed at the end of the semester.
  • For all other sessions, please consult the chart below.
  • Students must follow published procedures for Change of Program and pay any designated Change of Program fee.
  • Change of Program Policy effective: Fall 2007
  • Nonattendance or verbal notification does not constitute an official withdrawal from a course.

Graduation Important Dates

Official application for graduation must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar by the appropriate due date. Undergraduate students must have successfully completed a minimum of 80 credits (under new general education requirments) or 90 credits (under old general education requirements) before an application wil be accepted.

The Office of the Registrar recommends that students submit an Application for Graduation two semesters prior to the anticipated graduation date in order to ensure all requirements are being properly completed. The Prioriority Due Dates are as follows:

  • July 1 for May graduation

  • February 1 for August graduation

  • May 1 for December graduation

An Application for Graduation may be submitted after the Priority Due Date for a limited time. The Final Deadline Dates are as follows:

  • February 1 for May graduation
  • June 1 for August graduation
  • October 1 for December graduation

A $50.00 late fee is applied to all applications submitted once a graduating semester has begun. 

Graduation applications will not be accepted if received after the final deadline.
