St. Catherine Hall
St. Catherine Hall is Georgian Court University's
newest student residence, housing juniors and seniors enrolled
in the Women's College. It also houses the office and residence
of the Director of Residence life, as well as two apartments
used by visiting faculty, which are accessible through a private
entrance. This three-story residential building is situated
adjacent to the new Mercy Hall and University Community Chapel
in close proximity to Maria Hall.
St. Catherine's, as it's known around campus,
features the latest in on-campus living with high-speed cable
internet access, cable television, full generator back-up, a
computer lab and electronic card access. Electronic card access
provides a safe alternative to keyed access and the main
entrance is monitored to prevent unauthorized persons from
entering the building.
The three-story, 38,800-square-foot building
accommodates approximately 80 students in two-bedroom suites and
single units. The inviting first-floor lounge offers students a
place to hold meetings, watch TV or study by the gas fireplace.
Second- and third-floor lounges house exercise equipment, TVs
and study areas. Or, students can just relax and enjoy the view:
Lake Carasaljo, the serene Japanese Garden and our famous Apollo
Fountain can all be seen from St. Catherine's.
