It is highly recommended that education majors take MA331 Probability & Statistics I.


For Teacher of Mathematics (K–12) certification, students follow the major sequence in mathematics but must also include MA321 Foundations of Geometry and MA400 Math for Secondary School Teachers and are advised to take MA331 Probability & Statistics I

A minimum GPA of 2.0 in the major is required to graduate.

Minor Sequence

Eighteen credits in mathematics courses at the MA115 level or higher are required for the minor in Mathematics, including MA115 Calculus I and MA116 Calculus II. CS123 Computer Programming I can be counted toward the minor.

Deposit Deadline Extended to June 1

Georgian Court University has extended the deposit deadline to June 1 in response to the U.S. Department of Education announcement concerning delayed data availability from the revised Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
