PRE-HEALTH

PROGRAMS

With a pre-professional program, you can become a doctor, vet, or other health professional without a specific pre-med major. Many Georgian Court graduates have gone on to successful careers as doctors, chiropractors, dentists, podiatrists, physician assistants, and vets.

Though common undergraduate majors for professional health programs are biology and chemistry, it’s possible to major in any subject and still be accepted to medical school, as long as you have taken the required science courses, meet the required GPA, and have participated in the required volunteer experience (if any). Georgian Court is also home to an active pre-health club that sponsors speakers about medical careers, collects resources for the MCATs, organizes trips to museums with health-related exhibits, and holds fundraisers with health themes.

GCU offers many top-notch pre-health programs and dual-degree partnerships that will prepare you for a successful career in health care. Get to know our options below.
