First-Year Students

In your junior year of high school:

We offer many opportunities for seniors to tour and visit our gorgeous campus and meet some terrific GCU students.

Georgian Court University has rolling deadlines for first-year students like you, so your application can be accepted throughout the year. Apply early for priority consideration.

  • Complete your application form.
  • Have your school counselor submit your official high school transcripts with your 12th-grade courses listed.
  • Obtain a letter of recommendation.

Fill out your FAFSA!

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://studentaid.gov between January and April.
  • Meet the FAFSA priority deadline of April 15 for fall enrollment or November 15 for spring enrollment and maximize your chances of receiving funds.

Transfer Students

  • Apply online by August 31 for the fall semester or January 10 for the spring semester.
    *Applications received after these posted deadlines will be considered on a case-by-case basis; please contact admissions@georgian.edu if you are applying after the posted deadline.
  • Send official transcripts from any college or university you have attended to the Office of Admissions. Include your high school transcripts if you have fewer than 24 college credits.
  • Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online between January and April. Meeting the priority deadline of April 15 for fall enrollment will maximize your chances of receiving funds.

Graduate and Continuing Education Students

The time is right for you to pursue your dream of a graduate or degree completion degree. Most Georgian Court University graduate programs do not have an application deadline, so you can apply when it suits you. Apply today.

The exceptions are the fall-only admissions M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis, M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and M.A. in School Psychology.

  • Apply online.
  • Send your official transcripts from any college or university attended to the Office of Admissions.
    • If a standardized test score is required for your program, submit your scores from testing in the past five years.
  • Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online between January and April. Meeting the priority deadline of April 15 for fall enrollment will maximize your chances of receiving funds.

Deposit Deadline Extended to June 1

Georgian Court University has extended the deposit deadline to June 1 in response to the U.S. Department of Education announcement concerning delayed data availability from the revised Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Additionally, deposits are also refundable up to June 1. Click here for more information about the deposit extension.
