Unusual Tree Tour

Join Michael F. Gross, Ph.D., GCU arboretum director, professor of biology, and associate provost, for tours of GCU’s Sister Mary Grace Burns Arboretum, which showcases more than 190 species.
Visit GCU’s most unusual trees, including the tree extinct in the wild that is named after Benjamin Franklin, endangered trees, pigmy pine tree, trees native to South America and Africa, “married” holly trees, trees with unusual bark, and trees with connections to Edgar Allan Poe and the moon.
