An Affectionate Remembrance: George Burns and Gracie Allen
“I was retired when I worked with Gracie- I did nothing. For 40 years I asked Gracie ‘how’s your brother’ and she did 95% of the work”. Classic straight man George Burns and his ditzy but loveable wife, Gracie Allen, began in vaudeville and effortlessly moved into radio, films, and television. Spring Arboretum Guided Tour
Celebrate the nature and beauty of Georgian Court with a walking tour of the trees and gardens of our Sister Mary Grace Burns Arboretum. Included are the LEED Gold-certified living roof of the Wellness Center; the Italian, Puny, Japanese, Formal, Sunken, and Wellness Gardens; and the historic sculptures and statuary along the route. This tour is approximately ½ mile of walking on inclines and gravel paths, please plan accordingly.
