Show Your Work: Art Students Display Talent During Senior Exhibitions

Six art and visual studies and visual art majors will show their best work during two Senior Exhibitions scheduled April 29-May 16 in the M. Christina Geis Art Gallery at Georgian Court University.

The first exhibition begins today, April 29, and runs through Friday, May 6. It will feature the work of Victoria Black, who will earn a B.A. in Visual Art in December 2022; Jiaqi “Drake” Li, who will earn a B.F.A. in Art and Visual Studies in May 2022; and Jordan McMeen, who will earn a B.A. in Visual Art and Elementary Education (K-6) in 2023. An opening artists’ reception will be held on April 29 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The second exhibition begins Monday, May 8, and runs through Monday, May 16. It will feature the work of three May 2022 graduates: Brittany Busch, who is earning a B.A. in Visual Art; Emma Eisner, who is earning a B.F.A. in Art and Visual Studies; and John Krzyzczuk, who is earning a B.A. in Visual Art. An artists’ reception will be held on May 13 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The gallery, which is free and open to the public, is located on the second floor of Jeffries Hall and open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
