Undergraduate (First-Year) Applicants
Never attended college?
While there is no deadline, we encourage you to apply by November 15 for priority consideration. Once you submit your application and supporting documents, you’ll hear from us within four weeks. Georgian Court welcomes hundreds of transfer students to our campus community each year. In fact, we’re known as one of the most transfer-friendly universities in New Jersey, which is why we’ve been named to Phi Theta Kappa’s Transfer Honor Roll many times. No matter where your college journey started, we’ll work with you to determine how many credits will transfer and to develop an academic path forward, with the goal of completing your degree as soon as possible. Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A.B.S.N.) Applicants
Must have completed your bachelor’s degree prior to A.B.S.N. start date
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A.B.S.N) program enrolls students for starts in June and November of every year. Seats are limited, so those interested are encouraged to complete their applications as soon as possible. Learn more about A.B.S.N. Admissions.
The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) application is currently closed. Applications will reopen soon for the next cohort, beginning in Fall 2026. We encourage you to check back for updates or reach out to the Office of Admissions at admissions@georgian.edu with any questions.
Application Prerequisites
- Must have completed your bachelor’s degree prior to A.B.S.N. start date
- Minimum Cumulative GPA: 3.2
- Complete the following courses prior to the start of A.B.S.N. program with a required minimum grade of B- or better (first attempted grade is considered; not the retake of a course):

Interested in taking courses without enrolling in a degree program? Georgian Court University welcomes non-matriculating students—whether you’re getting a head start on college through Course Ahead or Step Ahead, joining us as a visiting student from another institution, or simply taking a class for personal enrichment. Non-matriculating status allows you to register for individual courses while enjoying access to GCU’s supportive learning environment.
International Applicants
For students who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents and wish to study at GCU on a student visa

Note: Transcripts from universities outside the United States must be in English and evaluated by World Education Services or International Education Evaluations. Please send official WES or IEE overall and course-by-course evaluations (fees involved) directly to Georgian Court. - If English is not your native language, scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or DUOLINGO are required.
