To manage the high volume of requests for publications, the Office of Marketing and Communications maintains a production schedule by which all requests for printed materials are prioritized and processed. When a design request is submitted, all materials (text, photos, images, etc.) must accompany the request. Otherwise, the project will be on hold until all materials are submitted via e-mail.
Google images, Facebook downloads, unauthorized imagery and clip art are NOT acceptable.
When planning a project that requires design and print materials, please remember that a minimum of eight weeks is required to produce a meaningful printed piece. ASAP is not an acceptable due date.
Please understand that our timeline includes scheduling, copy editing, design/layout, no more than three rounds of proofs, print bidding, and printing. Projects may take less or more time depending on the current marketing project queue.
To get a project started, please fill out this form as completely as possible. Please remember to submit a separate form per each project type. For example, if you need 500 fliers and 100 posters, you would need to place two requests—one for the fliers and the other for the posters.
If you have questions about the design part of the project please call us at 732-987-2454 or e-mail Alicia Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org. Marketing & Communications can also be reached at ext. 2266 (Gail Towns).
For questions about printing, cost estimates or billing follow-ups, call Chris Gunderud, our university print shop operator, at ext. 2277 or e-mail email@example.com.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you!
