The Student Government Association (SGA) of Georgian Court University is the official representative voice of the GCU student body. The SGA advocates on behalf of the students’ interests and concerns. Through representation on university committees and other special meetings, the Student Government Association continues to play a vital role in fostering community and providing a direct link between students, faculty, and administration.
The SGA Executive Board consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and parliamentarian. It also includes representatives from the Campus Activity Board, and the following chairperson positions: public relations, campus ministry, Commuters Association, Residence Hall Association, and transfer. In addition, each class level has a president, vice president, treasurer and secretary who are also part of the SGA.
If you are interested in attending a meeting, they are generally held every Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gavan Lounge, located next to the Court Café.
