From Northern New Jersey, New York, or New England
Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 91B Lakewood. Stay in the center lane and follow Route 549/Lanes Mill Road South. Turn right onto Route 526 West (Lanes Mill Road, which becomes County Line Road). Continue about 4 miles and turn left onto Route 9 South. Turn right onto Ninth Street; the Main Entrance is on the right.
From Northwest New Jersey or Pennsylvania
Take I-80 East or I-78 East to I-287 South to the Garden State Parkway South, then follow the directions above from Exit 91B Lakewood.
From Coastal South Jersey
Take the Garden State Parkway North to Exit 90 Brick. Stay right and take the first jug-handle for U and left turns, then turn left at the traffic light onto Chambersbridge Road (Route 549). Continue straight as it becomes Lanes Mill Road, then turn left onto Route 526 West (Lanes Mill Road, becoming County Line Road). Continue about 4 miles and turn left onto Route 9 South. Turn right onto Ninth Street; the Main Entrance is on the right.
From the Philadelphia Area, South Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland
Take I-95 North, I-295 North, or the New Jersey Turnpike North to I-195 East (Exit 7A from the Turnpike). Take I-195 East to Exit 28A, then follow Route 9 South to Ninth Street (about 6 miles). Turn right onto Ninth Street; the Main Entrance is on the right.
From Brooklyn, Staten Island, or Long Island
Take the Belt Parkway West to the Verrazzano Bridge to the Outerbridge Crossing. Take Route 440 South to the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 91B Lakewood, then follow the directions for Northern New Jersey above.
Getting Here Without a Car
By Bus
New Jersey Transit runs regular service to and from New York City and Philadelphia to the Lakewood Bus Terminal. Taxi service from the terminal to campus takes less than 10 minutes.
By Air
GCU sits roughly midway between Newark Liberty International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport, both served by taxi, bus, and limousine service to campus.

Southbound from North Jersey or New York
To bypass congestion at the standard Exit 109-Red Bank, use Exit 114 instead. Keep right, pay the toll, and turn right onto Red Hill Road. Turn left at the next light onto Crawford-Everett Road (St. Catharine’s Church). Follow to the end, then turn left at the T onto Route 520 (Newman Springs Road). Head east past Christian Brothers Academy (left) and Thompson Park (right); Brookdale will be on your right at the roundabout.
Using Exit 109-Red Bank
At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto Route 520 West (Newman Springs Road). Stay west about two miles; just past Lincroft, Brookdale will be on your left at the roundabout.
Northbound from South Jersey
Use Exit 109-Red Bank and merge far left at the bottom of the ramp, turning left onto Route 520 West (Newman Springs Road). Stay west about two miles through Lincroft; the entrance will be on your left.
From Western New Jersey
Take Route 33 to the Halls Mills Road North exit, which becomes Kozloski Road. Follow north to Route 537, turn right, and continue east to Route 34. Turn left onto Route 34 North, then right onto Phalanx Road at the next light. Stay on Phalanx about 3 miles; the Brookdale entrance is on the left just past the Swimming River Reservoir bridge.
From Route 18 Northbound
Exit at 15A-Wayside Road, follow to Route 537, then Laird Road, then Phalanx Road; the entrance is on the left past the reservoir.
From Route 18 Southbound
Take the Route 520 East exit and follow to the college.
