GCU's Cybersecurity Administration minor provides a hands-on applied introduction to protecting data and systems, building security defenses, responding to cyber incidents, and understanding cybersecurity policy and legal compliance. Offered online through an accredited consortium. Open to all majors.

This minor is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Some courses are taught by GCU faculty members. Other courses are taught by faculty members employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education. Oversight is reviewed and approved by Georgian Court University. Students register through GCU and receive GCU academic credit.
The Cybersecurity Administration minor prepares students to protect data and systems across a wide range of professional settings. Students gain practical experience designing security plans, building system defenses, and responding to cyber incidents — with portfolio projects that simulate real-world security challenges. Coursework covers ethical hacking, cybersecurity policy, mobile and cloud security, and legal compliance.
The minor is delivered entirely online through a consortium of accredited institutions, making it highly flexible and accessible for students of any major who want to add a technology security credential to their degree.

Up to two three-credit courses (six credits total) may double-count for a student’s major, other minor, or general education requirements and the cybersecurity minor. The Minor in Cybersecurity Administration requires 18 credits as follows:
