Communicating health information clearly, accurately, and accessibly is one of the most critical challenges in modern public health — and one of the most mishandled. GCU's Health Communication minor prepares students to design and implement effective health communication strategies across diverse populations and media platforms, combining public health policy, PR writing, media studies, and communication skills. Ideal for Nursing, Health Sciences, Social Work, Communication, and Public Health-track students.

This minor is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Some courses are taught by GCU faculty members. Other courses are taught by faculty members employed by partner institutions in the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education. Oversight is reviewed and approved by Georgian Court University. Students register through GCU and receive GCU academic credit.
