Research / Creativity Interest Area
Dr. Aryal’s primary research interest is sparse moment problem, which deals with missing moment data. It has very deep and broad applications since data obtained from physical experiments and phenomena are often corrupt or incomplete. He also enjoy dabbling in areas of elementary number theory, applied analysis, control systems, finance mathematics and mathematics education. He is enthusiastic about getting undergraduate students involved in his research projects.

Outside mathematics, Dr. Aryal enjoys hiking, swimming, and travelling around the world visiting different cultures. He grew up in Nepal before coming to U.S. for college.
