How to Report
By Phone or in Person
Call 732-987-2611 or visit the Office of Campus Safety in the Gatekeeper’s Lodge. Patrol officers are available 24 hours a day, including outside posted office hours.
By Emergency Phone
Use any of the 106 emergency phones in campus buildings and elevators or one of the 15 blue-lighted outdoor emergency phones. Each connects directly to Campus Safety.
Online, Voluntarily and Confidentially
Submit a Voluntary and Confidential Crime Report if you prefer not to report in person or want to share information about an incident without necessarily initiating a full investigative response.

Campus Security Authorities
Under the Clery Act, certain University officials, known as Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), are designated to receive crime reports on the University’s behalf, even if they are not part of Campus Safety. This includes staff in areas such as Residence Life, Student Development, and Athletics.
If you are more comfortable reporting to someone you know and trust in one of these roles, you may do so. This helps ensure that the incident is recorded and addressed.
Reporting Hazing
Report hazing through the channels above or to any Campus Security Authority. See Anti-Hazing for GCU’s full hazing policy.
Reporting Sexual Misconduct
Incidents involving sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking may be reported to Campus Safety. They are also addressed under GCU’s Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Policy. See the Title IX page for reporting options specific to these situations.
