Our Commitment
Georgian Court University is committed to providing equal access to all academic programs, services, and activities for students with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and applicable state laws. Through the Office of Student Success—Accessibility Services, we ensure that students receive appropriate accommodations and support to achieve academic success.

Getting Started
Students seeking accommodations must:
- Contact our office to schedule an initial appointment
- Submit documentation that meets our guidelines
- Work with our staff to determine appropriate accommodations
- Coordinate with faculty to implement approved accommodations
Important: Accommodations are not retroactive and will not be implemented until proper documentation is received and reviewed.
Testing Accommodations
Students approved for testing accommodations should coordinate with our office at least one week in advance of their exam date. We provide:
- Extended time
- Quiet testing environment
- Use of assistive technology
- Other approved accommodations
Services & Resources
This policy outlines the grievance procedure for GCU students with disabilities who believe they have experienced:
- Denial or delay of reasonable accommodations, academic adjustments, or auxiliary aids
- Failure to implement approved accommodations
- Discrimination or differential treatment by faculty, staff, or administrators based on disability
- Inaccessibility of campus facilities, programs, or technologies
