Professional Networking Meet and Greet
March 21, 2024 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
In honor of National Social Work Month, the Professional Networking Meet & Greet, hosted by the GCU Social Work Department, is happening on March 21st at 5:30 in the Casino, and we want you to attend.
Skills essential to social work influence many areas of study, including: Education, Nursing, Sport Management, Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Criminal Justice, Business, and more.
This event brings in a wide variety of social service agencies and is a great opportunity for students to learn about the various community resources available that can be relevant to many majors.
The event will begin at 5:30 with a short presentation by Julie Flores-Castillo, an immigrant rights advocate. At the age of 18, she is the youngest candidate currently running to represent Red Bank at the county level.
She is also part of the American Friends Services Committee’s new program, Emerging Leaders for Liberation. She has worked with immigrant youth since she was 15 years old.
There will be refreshments served, so grab a friend or two and join us in the Casino on March 21st at 5:30
