In U.S. News & World Report’s recently published 2023-2024 rankings, Georgian Court University (GCU) continues to excel in areas that significantly impact its students’ learning experience, social mobility, and career success.

Among the 167 institutions of higher education in the Best Regional Universities North category, Georgian Court is:

  • Top 22% for Lowest Median Debt for Grads With Federal Loans

Georgian Court placed 103rd in the Top Performers on Social Mobility category, reinforcing the university’s commitment to providing an affordable, holistic education. GCU ranked #111 in Regional Universities North, showcasing ongoing progress since being ranked #139 in 2020.

“These rankings affirm our dedication to providing a high-quality education that empowers our students to achieve their dreams—while minimizing their financial burden,” said Joseph R. Marbach, Ph.D., President of Georgian Court University. “We are grateful to our exceptional faculty and staff, whose unwavering support and commitment to our students have made these achievements possible.”

The ranking report, U.S. News Best Colleges, is one of students and parents’ most widely used resources during the college search. It compares many criteria believed to be essential for college success:  academic quality, including graduation rates; student-faculty ratio; social mobility; and more, to determine the rankings.

Georgian Court’s strong ranking results from a full campus effort grounded in the Mercy core values of respect, integrity, justice, compassion, and service. And, at the heart, GCU is advancing its mission to be a university where people from all walks of life can learn, succeed, and be welcomed.
