Georgian Court students will not see an increase in their tuition and fees for the 2024-2025 academic year, underscoring the university’s ongoing commitment to support students and their families facing economic challenges.
The tuition freeze means undergraduate and graduate students will pay 2023-2024 rates in the next academic year.
“We understand the challenges our students and families face and we are dedicated to providing them with the necessary support to achieve their academic and career goals,” said Joseph R. Marbach, Ph.D., President of Georgian Court University. “Our decision to freeze tuition and fees for the coming academic year reflects that dedication.”
This announcement follows the university’s launch of the GCU Promise program in November 2023, intended to support first-year and transfer students with financial need. The GCU Promise fills the gap in tuition assistance grants for full PELL and full TAG recipients, essentially making tuition free for those students.
Georgian Court has also accommodated accepted students by allowing them to submit fully refundable deposits up until June 1st. The university’s initial enrollment deposit of $250 is typically non-refundable.
GCU has demonstrated its commitment to student support by awarding over $22 million in financial aid to full-time undergraduate students this year, equating to over $23,000 per student. 99% of the university’s full-time students receive some form of aid.
