Alumna Marion Thomas, who received her bachelor’s degree at her 90th birthday party via Zoom on December 6, isn’t finished with her publicity tour just yet. Today, she and her family were featured on NBC’s Today with Hoda & Jenna. This newest interview follows a front-page Asbury Park Press article by Jerry Carino that was picked up by USA Today and other media outlets around the world (even in New Zealand), as well as a story on NBC News.

On Today With Hoda & Jenna, Mrs. Thomas and her family were interviewed by cohost Jenna Bush Hager. In addition to sharing Mrs. Thomas’s fantastic story, they announced their latest news: the foundation of the Marion B. Thomas Scholarship for nontraditional students.  This scholarship will assist individuals who wish to continue their education after a hiatus and are pursuing coursework in the humanities.
