Georgian Court University’s Lakewood campus will continue to operate virtually on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. All university offices, including the library, will operate virtually. Classes will continue online to the extent possible. Students should consult Blackboard Learn for specific course information.

All student vehicles must remain in the designated parking area in Lot A. Please refer to the signs posted in the residence halls for additional details.

For in-person classes not held on the Lakewood campus, GCU classes will follow the closure or cancellation decisions of the host location.

Nursing faculty should contact Dean Wurmser regarding clinical attendance.

Raymond Hall Dining Room will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.The Café will be closed.

The Fitness Center will operate under normal hours.

This notice serves as official internal documentation that, effective today, pursuant to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education Gainful Employment Electronic Announcement #122 – “Early Implementation of the Rescission of the Gainful Employment Rule’, published on June 28, 2019, Georgian Court University has decided to complete early implementation of the rescission of the Gainful Employment (GE) rule.   Thus, Georgian Court will not be required to report GE data for the 2018-2019 award year to NSLDS, will not be required to comply with the current requirements in 34 CFR 668.412 (d) and (e) that require institutions to include the disclosure template, or a link thereto, in GCU’s GE program promotional materials and directly distribute the disclosure template to prospective students. GCU will no longer be required to post the GE Disclosure Template and may remove the template and any other GE disclosures that are required under 34 CFR 668.412 from its web pages, and will not be required to comply with the certification requirements for GE programs under 34 CFR 668.414.
