In this session, Linda will guide us to experience an empowering practice of movement awareness through Pilates. You will gain a greater understanding of the seamless integration of mind/body/spirit as a single entity of spiritual energy. In addition, you will learn how to use basic practices, such as breathing, meditation, and Pilates to expand awareness of, and connect to, our higher selves.
With the intention of expanding our awareness of the tension in our muscles and limiting thoughts and beliefs, easy to perform Pilates exercise will be introduced. When the mind ‘chatter” quiets and muscular tension is released, we can connect to a peace within that is truly life changing!
Over the last 2 decades, Linda has been a dedicated Pilates practitioner and the founder of Studio Q Pilates. She is a book author and speaker for professional and local organizations including colleges about the wonders of Pilates. Most recent Pilates projects include an online masterclass titled, Reframing Mindbody as Spirit, streaming on her webpage https://www.cardenconnect.com/ and with https://humanitystream.org/. Linda earned her B.A. in Sport Medicine from SUNY College at Cortland and Pilates certification from Physical Mind Institute.
Reignite your inner glow with basic meditation practices that reduce stress, develop self-awareness, train your attention, and offer an understanding of the brain and nervous system.

During this special Medical Qigong session from Dr. Orr’s lineage, you will learn an ancient form brought from India to Shaolin Temple in China by Bodhidharma, founder of Zen. Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing art, science, and health care system, a great self-cultivating practice for anyone to promote healing, a sense of well-being, and stress reduction. Through the movement and the stillness of the mind, you will experience inner peace and sense of restoration.
