Dr. RAS Mikey C (Michael Courtney) is a critically acclaimed dance professional whose life mission is to spread universal understanding to communities and cultures across the globe by sharing his gift of the expressive arts. An assistant professor of dance at Wayne State University in Detroit, he believes that “movement is life,” a philosophy he has applied to his craft, his life, and his teaching for more than 20 years. He is also an accomplished musician who has collaborated with Raven-Symone, Major Lazer, the Marley Family, Irish Aid, and others.
