WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH A TEACHER EDUCATION DEGREE?
With a bachelor’s degree and teacher certification, you’ll be ready to teach students from the pre-kindergarten through high school levels. Earning a teaching degree builds valuable skills such as patience, flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability. These skills will aid you in plenty of education careers beyond the classroom. Pursuing a master’s degree will open professional paths to careers in administration and leadership, such as principal or superintendent. Additionally, those with education degrees can also follow a nontraditional path and pursue careers in training and development, educational research, and test-preparation services.
TAILORED
ACADEMICS
As a teacher, you’ll evaluate your students’ needs and develop lesson plans that suit their goals. That’s also what we’ll do at Georgian Court for you. You’ll receive one-on-one attention from professors, opportunities to specialize your skills and knowledge, and coursework that will prepare you to meet the needs of diverse students and ever-changing education trends.
The Georgian Court University Teacher Education Program and the Administration and Leadership Program are nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). As part of the program, all students will participate in classroom-based internships and student-teaching experiences.
