School of Education
We believe that all students have a right to top-quality education, so we give you the foundation and one-on-one attention to ensure you can, in turn, do the same for other students. Our degree and certification programs meet all necessary criteria to teach or counsel students or to lead school communities. Our small class size and individualized mentoring enable you to develop skills and tailor them to the career of your choice.

Where Lifelong Learners Become Teachers
Together, we are in the business of improving our diverse and changing world one teacher at a time…and one student at a time. This stands true for all levels, in all facets of primary, elementary, secondary, and special education.
As a student, you will be given all of the tools needed to seamlessly transition into a teacher, counselor or school leader. Let GCU’s School of Education make your educational goals a reality.
Georgian Court University recommends and submits certification applications to the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Office of Licensing and Credentials on behalf of students who have completed all requirements in our state-approved programs within one year from the date of the student’s program completion.
