Whether striving for the undergraduate minors or certificate, graduate-level certificate, or Master of Arts degree in this field, you’ll learn about Eastern and Western approaches to health and well-being from the the Department of Integrative Health & Exercise Science at Georgian Court University. Knowledgeable and approachable faculty offer you a mutual learning experience that is not limited to the cognitive level, but also extends to spiritual, mental, and physical wellness. These programs also develop your skills in critical thinking, communications, and interpersonal relations.
Undergraduate exercise science majors may choose a track in pre-physical therapy and/or a concentration in coaching. GCU also partners with Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia which will accept at least two Georgian Court University students per year who successfully meet all criteria for admission to their Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) program. Graduates of these programs can enjoy careers in universities, corporate settings, and commercial and community settings.

Japanese Tea Experience
The Mansion 503 Ninth Street, Lakewood, NJ, United StatesSee GCU’s beautiful Japanese Garden and authentic traditional teahouse, which was exhibited at the Japan-British Exhibition of 1910. The Japanese Garden is one of the historic and natural gems of the campus, having been installed by the Gould family and designed in 1910 by celebrated Japanese-born landscape architect Takeo Shiota.
