Mr. Gandhi, a longtime Monmouth County resident of Asbury Park, is very familiar with GCU. “I’ve known about and deeply appreciated Georgian Court and its rich heritage for a long time. I look forward to becoming an active, engaged participant in the campus community,” said Gandhi.

Ketan N. Gandhi

Mr. Gandhi previously served as VP of Finance and CFO at Caldwell University in Caldwell, N.J., where he successfully developed a balanced budget, turning around years of deficit and solidifying his reputation as a visionary financial leader.

“To make effective financial decisions, it is crucial to develop a deep understanding of an organization’s culture and people. ‘What’s making our students want to fall in love with this place? Why do they want to continue to complete their education?’ I look forward to finding the answers to these questions in the coming weeks and months.”

Mr. Gandhi believes that collaboration is key to achieving goals, especially now when higher education institutions across the country are facing economic constraints.  “I know the challenges for institutions like Georgian Court,” said Gandhi. “I look forward to collaborating with faculty, staff, and other key members of the community to reach our financial goals.”

During his tenure at Caldwell, Mr. Gandhi played a central role in improving the institution’s financial strength. Through fiscal discipline and effective internal controls, he successfully raised the Department of Education (DOE) score, increased cash reserves, and fostered investment growth.  He served as co-chair of the Strategic Planning build and the initiator and leader of the institution-wide Strategic Enrollment Group.  He also made tremendous financial strides as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and CFO at Sussex County Community College.

Mr. Gandhi earned an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds a postgraduate degree in Management from K.C. College of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Bombay University. He is currently pursuing an Ed. D. in Educational & Transformational Leadership from Rowan University.
