“Art and education are perhaps my two greatest passions in life,” said Ariana Zanecchia of Point Pleasant, N.J. Ariana is graduating from GCU with a Master of Art in Teaching (MAT) and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement. She will be certified to teach art to students K-12.

Soccer (or “football” in Scotland) was the vehicle Jay Abraham used to arrive at Georgian Court University, but academic principles are the fuel that powered him through the journey. “The Five Mercy Core Values are guides for how best conduct yourself not only at school but in life,” said Abraham who hails from the town of Dumfries in Scotland.
Amanda Ricci ’23: Breaking Stigma and Breaking Barriers
“No matter how hard things seem, continue to always persevere and push yourself,” said Amanda Ricci of Barnegat, N.J. Amanda’s passion for positive change is what led her to pursue a career that is focused on helping others – social work. She is graduating in May with a bachelor’s degree in social work from GCU.
Noemi Olavarria ’23: ESL Student plants the seed to create a legacy for her own children
Noemi Olavarria, of Bayonne, N.J., had a lot to juggle when she first started at GCU. As her journey comes to an end, she looks back at all the challenges she had to overcome to be where she is today.
