From molecules to ecosystems, biology is at the forefront of understanding and enhancing our world. The Department of Biology at Georgian Court University brings learning about this discipline to life in a hands-on, relevant way.

Courses incorporate learning about biological organization, laboratory use, scientific writing, and independent research. You’ll work very closely with our top-notch team of faculty members to ensure that you grasp coursework and understand how it translates into real-world applications. Graduates are equipped to pursue careers in medicine, health care, dentistry, physical therapy, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, environmental, and veterinary fields, to name a few.
