Program Information Sheets, Course Sequences & Degree Plans
Program information sheets for each program list admission requirements for the Georgian Court University part of the bachelor’s degree program, explain the Brookdale-GCU dual admissions option, describe the GCU part of the bachelor’s degree including a sample semester by semester sequence of courses, and provide advising notes/reminders that will be helpful for both students and advisors. Years 1+2 Sequences list the suggested semester by semester course sequences for students’ first two years (associate degree) at Brookdale as listed in Brookdale’s catalog. Years 3+4 Sequences list the suggested semester by semester course sequences for years 3 and 4 (plus year 5 for teacher certification) for traditional (2+2) transfer and 3+1 (3+2 for teacher certification) program options for GCU-Hazlet and GCU-Lakewood. Degree plans are tables listing course requirements for the GCU bachelor’s degree in one column, and which Brookdale courses meet which requirements in another column. After enrolling at GCU, students will receive a registrar-issued personalized degree progress chart that lists their specific degree requirements based on their own transcripts from all institutions attended.
Reminder: While continuing to offer our full suite of 2+2 options for over 30 GCU Lakewood majors, we are expanding possibility by adding even more flexible and even more affordable 3+1 Hazlet and 3+1 Lakewood options for a few programs. Choose the Brookdale to GCU pathway now and your specific GCU option as late as the end of your third year.
